Made during the COVID19 holiday isolation using analog and digital synths. I was experiencing a flood of emotions during this period due to personal loss. Having my studio as a safe haven for creativity and expression helped me cope. The warmth of analog equipment including Eurorack gear is oddly comforting. Because of the heat from my studio it's always the warmest part of my home. It's here that I can meditate, work and be myself. I keep it relatively dark because I prefer this kind of womb-like atmosphere--almost like a sensory deprivation tank. For me, my musical instruments become colleagues and friends over time. They each have their own personality and quirks. They don't judge, and they're always willing to work towards creating. I hope that these tracks bring you some comfort and joy.--gentoo
