Now in the eighth month of COVID19 and what people are referring to as “the new norm” Empath is four tracks produced during a disheartening time in the world. Many people are suffering from loss, sickness, unemployment, anxiety and depression. However, there is something to be learned in these dark times. In darkness we find light and the strength to grow. When times are good, we become complacent and from that comes stagnation. It is important during this time for us to show empathy. Although we do not recognize one another in our material forms, we are indeed alike. Trapped in these bodies we perceive the world uniquely, each of us, and time causes us to forget what we are and where we have come from. We only see difference through our perception, the distinctions that separate the subjective world. However, by showing empathy we can sometimes catch a glimpse of the energy we share. Be kind to each other. Be kind to the Earth. Be kind to all things.
